Drinking From a Cold Spring, a Little Book of Hope

If you struggle to find balance between creative work and personal life you know the challenges, distractions, and conflicts that get in the way.

Through her moving and insightful writing, Erin Lee Gafill tells you the stories that have shaped her personal journey. While not a “how to” book by any means, Drinking From a Cold Spring is filled with inspiration and object lessons in how to keep your head in your work while keeping your heart in your life. Gafill is a working artist, born and raised in Big Sur, California. Her paintings are collected interantionally, and her essays, first published in her blog, The Big Sur Fix, are read by thousands.

Thank you Sandi! Each chapter was written out of MY soul – a kind of daily life-raft. I’m so happy it connected for you! xoxo

I sat down with your book and did not get up until I had finished. Your thoughts and feeling were heartfelt and your wisdom astonishing. Joel and I had just come back from Nepenthe which added to my enjoyment of your stories. I feel kinship and only wish I could get to know you better.
